Overview Oracle has been embedding AI into Fusion Cloud for several years — and the pace has accelerated sharply. Finance now has AI-driven anomaly detection, smart close recommendations, and predictive cash flow. SCM has demand sensing and supply disruption prediction. HCM has skill gap analysis, attrition prediction, and intelligent job recommendations. The Digital Assistant layer lets users query Fusion data conversationally. And OCI AI Services lets organisations extend the platform with their own models. The challenge for consultants, IT managers, and finance leaders is knowing which AI capabilities are native and always-on, which require specific activation and configuration, which require an OCI AI Services subscription, and — critically — which actually work reliably enough to change how their organisation operates. Honest assessment of Oracle Fusion Copilot: what is generally available, what is in preview, and how to advise a client asking whether Oracle AI is ready for operational reliance.
