When employees and managers understand how to use these features correctly, the HR team spends less time on administrative requests and data in the system stays accurate. This course teaches Oracle Fusion HCM self-service from both the employee and line manager perspective. Employees learn how to manage personal information, submit absence requests, view absence balances and accrual history, access pay slips and tax documents, and update skills. Managers learn how to review and approve team absences, view team calendars for coverage planning, monitor absence patterns, and handle escalation and override scenarios. Focused and practical — one session, three hours, immediately applicable. Designed to be delivered on-site to a mixed group of employees and managers in the week before or after go-live. Then the manager view: the My Team dashboard, reviewing and approving team absence requests, the team absence calendar for coverage assessment, and common manager scenarios — approving a partial absence, rejecting with a comment, and escalating to HR. Absence record maintenance: correcting an incorrectly submitted entry and the audit trail.
